I dont see them doing in a row. Maybe after they take a few years off yeh they will come back.

This year I feel WINGS or LEAFS. Sad to say My team wont be there UNLESS they start to get it ALL together........................

I think the huge loss of Forsberg will have a big effect on their chances of winning the cup. By the way...did Bourque retire after last year? Can't seem to recall hearing anything about it. (there's little NHL coverage in this area (Chicago)...something to do with not having a competitive team I hear)

Borque definetly retired right after winning the Cup. They will be retiring his number in Colorado at the beginning of the season, as well as in Boston.

Yea, what's up with the Avs retiring Bourque's number anyway? Sure, Bourque was everthing one would want from a defenseman and a great player but does 15 months in a sweater really call for retirement of a number? Boston no doubt but the Avs? can't figure it. Maybe it is payback for the victory parade Boston threw- didn't get that either.

I don't think the Avs will repeat, and not because of Forsberg taking time off. I mean it did not affect them last year when he could not play.....I just think this year they will have stiffer competetion to contend with....I hate to say this because I love my Boys but I think that probably the Wings or the Devils will take the cup this year!

I agree that retiring Bourque's number in Colorado is pretty dumb.

But I dont think the Avs will repeat. I smell a Flyers-Wings final, with the Flyers comming out on top. Both teams are stacked.

How's that gonna happen? Ray Pork is gone. According to ESPN, didn't he single handedly win them the cup? It's obvious why Boston turned this bum into a legend, since bobby orr (a great in reality) left, what have they had? Anyway back to Quebec, er I mean Colorado. Everyone in hockeytown hates the av's but our fans have class. Must be something in the air up there. Denver is a hate breeding ground making Philly fans look like ambassadors to good will.

Well not that any of our opinions matter because it is what happens out on the ice that counts. But with any luck it will be a Wings - Caps final again. That way I can go to the game at the MCI Center where I have season tickets.
