Cloutier was lucky and good, as great goaltenders are, but Cloutier ain't a great goaltender.
Vancouver can relish the fact that they won't get swept, but they aren't going to win this series.
WOW!...The only thing that took a little pain away from my Devs getting beat down was the Canuckleheads winning game one over Detriot...I'm glad for them and hope they can keep up the good play but this series is FAR from over!...One overtime victory does not a series make...

I was pretty happy with Detroits effort and game last night - however two flukey goals (one that bounced off Chelios and one that bounced off Larianov to win the game) got the Canucks the win last night.
Game 2 Friday night!

Ten bux says Mario blames the loss on Dandenault's failed attemt to clear the puck up the middle.
Like Ken said, the Canucks only kept themselves from getting swept.

Hell yeah, he BLOWS MULES!! He did have an awesome open-ice hit late in the third period (I believe?). That game could have gone either way. Don't forget, the Larionov goal was pretty flukey too. They had some great chances and hit plenty of posts last night. I'm guessing the Wings in 6....They'd be better off with a tough opening series, to help get 'em over-the-hump.
