Canes 1 point from clinching

All the Canes need is one point to clinch the division and the 3rd seed in the playoffs. The Canes win last night over the Isles put them 6 points ahead of the Caps. Both teams have 3 games in hand. The Canes last 3 games are all agains S.e. division teams who aren't going to the playoffs.

Must be nice to play in a crappy division... Otherwise, you'd be fighting it out with Montreal for the 8th seed.

Actually we would be fighting for the 7th seed and both trying to hold the Caps off. If it wasn't for the Southeast we both would still make the playoffs.
