Thumbs up Great game against Red Wings - Recap

Saw the whole game tonight and was very impressed with the Rangers. Here's my recap.

Skudra did excellent in goal, made some really nice saves. Blackburn did alright but for most of the game I saw him making little mistakes and in my opinion didnt play as good as Skudra.

I was really impressed with their defense. I definetly see an improvement over last year. Pretty good at killing the PP's too.

Offense seemed really stratchy, I think mostly due to the fact that Messier, Nedved and Lindros didn't play.

Overall, by wathcing this game, I feel really good about this year. I think we can definetly get to the playoffs and will do some damage.

Oh yea, it was really funny seeing these professional hockey players, on both teams, fall & make some stupid mistakes. Especially when they first got onto the ice. I guess that is expected for their first games.

Thanks for a Recap of what went down.
How did you get to see the game? When most of us in NY who had tuned into MSG, got that moron Tim McCarver and his boring show?

    Thumbs up

Rangers played a good game last night. Did you see the pre-game lineup of the players Center Ice for the moment of silence and the Star Spangled Banner?

Nice Picture CF, it's great to see that the two teams were lined up together and not on seperate lines.

The game was on Fox SportsNet Detroit, I think you only get that station if you live in that area or have DirecTV.

Here, I found an even better picture of the Pre-game lineup during the National Anthem.

I merged Nitebreed's thread with this one because they're both covering last night's great game, even if I didn't get to see it all.

    Hope that's kosher with everyone.
