It will be Weekes' first start with the Canes since he was acquired on March 5 and first since he was in net for the Tampa Bay Lightning in a 4-3 overtime loss to the Detroit Red Wings on Feb. 26. With the Lightning, he was 3-9-0 with a 2.89 goals-against average.
While Weekes' gear tonight will still be Tampa's blue and white, his soon-to-return red-and-white Carolina pads will feature the same distinctive cat-eye motif as his Lightning pads.
Weeks, 26, has waited patiently to play since the Canes traded Shane Willis and Chris Dingman for him.

yeah, hopefully he will be really stong in the net. Plus I hop[en that his affection for big cats means he will slap down any Panther assault tonight.
