Stephane Richer to NJ! Should we hand the Devils the Cup now that they have the former 50 goal scorer? Oh wait that was 10 years ago... my bad!

Not to tee-off the Xed-ster, who's understandably having a rough day, but I understand the Penns got nice set of dining napkins and doyles in exchange for Stephane... no wait, again my bad.. it was NJ's highly touted 7th round pick.

P.S.--He's not a 50 goal scorer anymore but considering that they didn't lose anything for him Richer will still add a little offensive talent to the Devs...Who knows come a double overtime game and a loose puck, I'm not going to be dissappointed that it's him rather than another Devil to one-time a shot or get the break-a-way...

Actually, I dont mind them trading Richer so much... he is rather 'over the proverbial hill' and getting something for him is not bad... heck, they pulled him out of retirement before the season

But the Kaspar thing.... and dealing with tthe Jagr debacle earlier.... I cant even think straight

Xed, I imagine I'll be feeling the same way if Quinn is stupid enough to let Cujo become a free agent, but I don't want to think about that right now.

I agree. CuJo is the cornerstone of that team. He is a rock.

As for Kasparitis, you got shafted. The wings were willing to give you Dandenault and a pick or McCarty as far as I know. Instead, they gave him to Colorado for NOTHING. I don't know why every year when the Wings want to make a deal, teams have ridiculous demands, yet they'll give them to Colorado for nothing in return.

They wanted Datzyuk and Fisher from the Wings for Kasper. Instead they take Nemminen and some no-namer. Something fishy going on.
