    Who will the Canes help?

The Canes have 2 straight games with the Habs, Sat. and Mon. These 2 games could be huge for the Eastern playoff seeds. The Canes also have 2 with NJ and 2 with Boston out of their next 8.

Buff has a very winable game against Fla. tonight. The Rangers are at NJ tomorrow. The Caps are on the road at San Jose tonight and Edmonton tomorrow. The Pens play the Kings tomorrow. Pitt could creep back in but those last 2 losses to CLB and the Ducks were big.

To be honest, they dont even deserve to make it when you drop a game to Columbus at home, and follow it up with a loss at Anaheim

    But, hopefully they will overcome...

Well the Canes already helped out TO by giving us Tommy Borasso for pretty much nothing... the only way you could have helped more was if you took Cory "the talking pilon" Cross off of our hands, but hey, a trade can only be so one-sided!

Things are looking up for the Canes with the Caps loss to the Sharks last night as Washington's games in hand are gone. Hopefully tonight we will get a win coupled with a Caps loss to Edmonton. The Sabres shot themselves in the foot last night against the Panthers, you can't let games like that get away when you're playing catchup.

Sorry PJ the Canes didn't help you out by not winning either game against the Habs. The Canes had many chances in both games but Theo was on fire. Atleast they tied one to keep the Habs from getting all four points.
