    Canes set NHL record...

with their sixth striaght tie at home. The Canes tied Calgary last night 3-3. It was a good game, real gritty and physical, the Canes could have, should have walked away with 2 points, but they didn't.

6 ties at in a row at home, thats rediculous!!

As Neil Smith said, they have more ties at home than Georgio(sp) Armani

You are abssolutely correct, 6 ties in a row is ridiculous. We could have won, but it wasn't in the cards (I wiull not blame Irbe ) The Canes have got to start winning if they want to assure themselves of a spot in the playoffs and then advancing in the playoffs.
Plus, we went into OT for the 24th time this year

I think that if the canes got one more sniper, that would be huge for them. A lot of those ties could have been wins if there was a Bure on the team.

You know, the Canes are making a nice arguement for the shoot-out!! You're right, if they could dump Barrasso for a goal-scorer they'd be set. They're very close, maybe a player or two away. They're gonna head into the post-season as a bit of a sleeper pick and may catch a team or two by suprise.

The Canes have not made it out of the first round of playoffs the last 2 times they were there. Here's hoping they can do that this year.
