irbe just signed a three year esxtension with the Canes. Add Weekes into the mix, does this spell the end of Barasso, or will Weekes be traded for some more forwards, particularly on the left wing?

Somone's going. I wouldn't be suprised if it's Barrasso. I don't know why, but I'll bet some teams wouldn't mind having him for a playoff run. I hate to keep bringing this up, but St. Louis has got to be on the top of the list. Also, maybe Dallas if they can move Belfour. How'd ya like to get traded from a playoff contender to Tampa Bay. That'd suck hard!!

Carolina will definitely trade Borasso before the deadline after this trade... I just hope that he doesn't end up in T.O. because I'm sure that'll mean that Cujo has played his last game for the Leafs.

The Leafs may look at Barasso but I have just confirmed it would be short term, he is not their man for next year.

Barrasso only signed a 1 year deal with Carolina so any team he goes can use him as a bandaid and not worry about trying to move his contract at seasons end.
