    Thumbs down Another Goal-less Game...

Well just when the Devils' future looked promising they go and get shut out once again in Colorado...Frankly, after what happened in game seven of last years playoffs and the fact that they are fighting for a playoff position I expected the Devils to have more motivation going into the game...But it was not the case as Roy and the 'Lanche stole the show...HOWEVER, a goalie can only make so many saves...And I haven't seen NHL teams win too many games by scoring NO goals! It's hard to watch the Devils play an OK game and then the next night get shut out...That's twice now in what three games??...But there's no time to cry about it, it's off to sunny Phoenix tonight!...

They sound just like the Rangers! Rangers beat Philly, then lose to Calgary.

They play good against good teams, and poor against poor teams. Makes no sense, and is very fustrating!

P.J Stock--Yeah pretty frustrating indeed!...But the good news for us is that both are teams are in playoff positions at least!

FLII ME--Hmmm...Well, if I have to take off my Devils cap for a moment and decide without being biased I would say it's hard to tell...*LOL*...Instinct says they lose in the first round if they even make it...On the other hand if they win that first round matchup I'd be worried if I were the next team in line to face 'em cause that first round may be all it takes to finally bring out and gel all the great talent they are currently wasting...But let's just see if they even make the TRUE big dance.

Cane Says--Yes indeed... They just do NOT seem motivated by anything at this point...

I think the firing of robinson was a mistake, this will hurt them in the long run. Ever since they got rid of him, they do not seem to play inspirational hockey. But what do I know?

Time to break out the heavy sticks!! These guys have no reason not to get it going right now. We're gonna see what they're made of in the next week, if they sleep through the next couple games, they're gonna be in a hole.
