the Hurricanes have acquired minor league center Ted Drury from the New Jersey Devils in exchange for defenseman Mike Rucinski. Drury will now play for the Hurricanes’ AHL affiliate in Lowell, Mass.

Trades will pick up bigtime, I heard through the grapevine a 6 way trade between the Av's and oilers might be done by Saturday???

Yeah, I'm sure it's gonna hit the fan. I think a LOT of teams are shopping right now. It feels like there's gonna be more activity this year than usual. But then again, who knows with those GM's. It's all smoke and mirrors.
