Talking 2 big points for my boys last night!

Well, the Pens had a great comeback after being down at the Islanders 2-0 to win 4-2! With the Rangers, Caps, and Sabres all losing the Pens gain some precious ground. The only other thing thatr could have happened right last night would have been for Atlanta to beat Montreal!

But , Those 2 points closes the Mario-less Pens to within 5 points of the 8th seed in the East, with a game-in-hand on the 8th place Rangers.

At least the Pens haven't rolled over and played deads since Mario has gone out for good.

Straka is supposed to come back (again) this week, so maybe we can still make a push fdor our 12th consecutive playoff!
    Let's go PENS!

It's gonna be the usual dogfight in the east. You GOTTA love playoff hockey!! These games are starting to feel like playoff games.

OK! Chaulk up 2 more points for the Pens after last nights win vs. Florida!

After blowing a 5-2 lead in the 3rd, and surviving TWO waived off goals in the 3rd by Hrdina... the Pens get a Kovalev goal in OT to get 2 more huge points!

Only 4 points out of 8th seed now, with the Rangers tying the Wild! And the Pens have a game-in-hand on NYR!

Yeah, it's pretty exciting with all these games crammed together... gotta be hard on the players though!

That was one hell of a wrist shot by Kovalev in OT! Rangers somehow pulled that win out of their butts, but they still played like crap for most of the game which is very disturbing.

I think this win could very possibly ignite a spark, and the Rangers will go on a 8 game winning streak

It was even better to see Richter only allowing a couple.

darth, I know your loyalties, but we are on a streak and we have to face the caps on Friday night, it is important for the canes to keep the winning mindset.

Oops, just found out it wasn't Richter in goal last night, but Dan Blackburn. Good work for the kid!!

hehe...i was just gonna correct you, but you did it for me. The Kid looked good last night, but hes still a little to inconsistent for my liking. Maybe because hes only 18? Could be.
