    Jarome Iginla

got his first career hat trick last night against the Rangers, he has 39 goals on the season. This dude can shoot the puck, it's hard to believe this is his first hat trick.

Yea he can shoot the puck alright

He seems like a good guy too...

John Davidson said that he saw this group of teenagers or whatever sleeping in their car at the olympics. I guess he talked to them, and they said they were sleepin in their car to save money because Tickets to the games cost a lot. Jerome drove away and got them a hotel room, then drove back and gave them the key to the room.

Thats a pretty cool frigan thing to do! I definitly have respect for this guy.

Every interview I've seen with him he seems to have a very positive attitude. The world of professional sports needs more guys like him. If he played in a big media market, he could possibly be the most talked about player in hockey.

I agree. I too am suprised that that was his first. The league could use more guys like him, North Americans with CLASS!!

Richter had one of his worse games Ive ever seen last night.

I think before that, Jerome had about 26 two goal games, and wasnt able to get the third in any of those. He almost had 4 last night, as Leetch made a save with the empty net.

This guy stays healthy, who knows what he'll do in his career. Of course that could be said about any natural goalscorer!! I just hope I live to see someone, er ANYONE take Gretzky's record. And yeah, sooner or later it will happen. I just hope it happens before they change rules and when someone does it, it'll be tainted with a bigger net or no redline, or goals scored by shootouts to decide ties!!

What one of Gretzkys record are you referring to? Nobody is ever gonna get 92 goals (I think it was 92 atleast) or 215 points in a season. Nobody is gonna come near his carer point umbers either, atleast I dont think so.

A class act indeed. I would trade CUjo to the flames for him.

Do you know that he is only making $450,000 US this year, I see a big pay raise for him in the summer

yeah, and I don't see it coming in Calgary either. It's unfortunate, but I doubt they'll be able to hang on to him unless he REALLY likes it there!!!

All of them. There were records before him and sooner or probably much later, they'll be broken. I think it'll be easier to score 93 than get 215 points in a season. That's ridiculous though isn't it? I'm sure it'll happen some day.
