I usually would agree with that statement. I would certainly make an acception for Dino. Thanks to poor diagnosis, he was cheated out of his last 3 potential years. Now that the "back" problem in his hip was found and fixed, he is supposedly ready to go and very healthy. I say what the hell, there are a lot of teams out there that could use a gritty presence in front of the net coming into playoff season. A contender would be able to get him pretty cheap too, I imagine as he would love to get that cup!!

I thought Dino was reincarnated into Tomas Holmstrom!

Yeah really, accept, Dino was better. And remember, he stopped playing before they changed the crease rule. Imagine how effective he'd be under this newer system!!!

He was also better at not getting called for being in the crease than Holmstrom before they changed the rules.

I think he should come back. All he ever did was stand in front of the net and score sloppy goals anyway. How hard is that?

Bring back the Dino! If he can still take the punishment in front of a goalie, he will be a very valuable asset to any team.

It would be wierd not seeing him in Detroit though, and even wierder if he ended up in TO (but that's highly unlikely)
