Nice and needed win

The Canes got a much needed win over the Bruins last night, 6-2. It was good to see so many of the players contribute to the overall game effort. There were more penalties called in that game thatn I have seen since the Canes faced the Devils in game 4 or 5 of the playoffs last year. The Bruins had nearly 80 minutes in the penalty box, the Canes only had 35 minutes. Hopefully we can continue with the winning against Montreal this weekennd. PLus I hope the Caps continue to lose.

It was nice to finally see some offense. We control our own destiny win and we are in.

If the canes can play like that all the time, they would be a very strong team, their problem is they tend to get lax on offense.

I don't think that necessarily get lax on offense but they get to cute trying to make perfect plays and forget about shooting the puck. I'm a big believer in that there is no bad shot, shoot the puck and good things will happen.
