Mario Lemieux Is Out!!...

Well at this point I think the Pens are in SERIOUS trouble now!!...I just can't believe the amount of problems this man has gone through, it's almost too difficult to watch sometimes...It's almost like when he makes a comeback you just hope he doesn't get hit or something cause he just seems too delicate for the NHL...The same thing goes with Lindros...I don't know but sometimes I almost wish he would just retire and focus on trying to make the team winners without him...

And to compound matter ... Straka is out indefinately with a broken eye orbit... his first game back from a broken leg, he gets jabbed in the eye by Hedberg on accident

I was really hoping to see Lemieux play when Detroit comes to Melon arena tomorrow for the ABC game.

Lemieux is only 34 years old - he'll be back and better than ever once his hip is properly taken care of

ChrisFrez--I hope you're right, I always root for him to do really well when he makes come backs...He's definitely my favorite all time non-Devil...I mean you hear about how alot of other guys are so good at break-a-ways but I still think Mario can slip the puck into the net better than anyone...Even at his current age he can make any other superstar in the League look like the flavor of the month...

I couldn't agree more. I'll say it again. If he had been healthy, he'd have taken ALL of Gretzky's records!!
Pittsburgh is gonna have to fold up shop this year and play for next. They've got two major superstars on ice indefinitely, a couple more on the trade block. I wouldn't want to be a Pittsburgh fan right about now. The immidiate future is bleak!!
