Frustration!...

Well the Devs actually had a nice little unbeaten streak going until last night where they got shut the hell out by Philly! I'm telling you that is one scary team that I think even Detroit fans can be nervous about...They cleary were more physical than the Devils it seemed the majority of the game was being played in the Devils end of the ice...I don't know about you guys but I don't think there's anything more frustrating that watching your favorite team get shut out...Man I hate it!!! Even in the past where teams didn't get a point for making it to the overtime, I would have rather have watched them lose in a regular season overtime game than a shutout...I just think I'd be really embarrassed if I was a player and my team got shut out...But back to Philly, they just looked BIG out there on the ice and very tough to get past...The Devs just looked small and unable to do anything with that team...I think the outcome would have been worse if the Beezer hadn't made some really good saves too...Even though I think it was Arnot who got the closest chance for the Devils...Even worse is that in my opinion Stevens and Daneyko just are gettingn too old to handle big tough teams like this these days...White looked good and hopefully will take over that role, but they may need a few more bigger players...Sykora and Elias really had their hands full trying to get past those boys, they definitely needed Arnot playing with them that's for sure...Ah well the good side of things is the Devs only lost by one goal to one heck of a hockey team last night...

P.J.--He didn't play??...*LOL*...Well like I said I sometimes miss some things during some of the games and I guess that was one of them...The only thing I can think of is that the Devs have eight defensemen on their roster so that each game usually two of them have to be healthy scratches...Usually Stevens, Rafalski and Niedermayer are regulars but they kind of rotate the others throughout this season, especially with Albelin back in the lineup...I believe that they scratched Daneyko earlier this season and he wasn't happy about it but it was just to keep a rotation going not because he was playing bad...And I understand your feelings about White, he's definitely got attitude out there...

Actually I don't HATE the Flyers...Well except when they shut us out on our own ice!!...*LOL*...In fact if the Devils do go down and don't make it, or don't make it far, in the playoffs I really won't mind seeing a new team win the Cup this year...
