    Rob Niedermayer

Flames forward Rob Niedermayer is trying to make his way back into the lineup from an ankle injury, but he is getting little sympathy from his teammates.

Niedermayer skated before the team's practice and was making his way off the ice while his teammates filed into practice.

"Time to get off the ice," winger Craig Berube was overheard saying by the Calgary Sun. "The real players are here."

As practice began, Niedermayer talked to reporters when assistant coach Brian Skrudland piped in with: "Talk to him when he comes back ... in June or July."
    From this article

Wow! I guess that's not the warmest of dressing rooms. How long have the Flames gone without making the playoffs now?
"Keeps going like this, the Zamboni driver is going to be the first star."
