Does anyone here actually participate in sports wagering??

If you do is it through a local or a off shore book?

Just curious to ask as I am big time player, practically wagering everynight on the NHL with a book and a local.

I am the worst gambler ever!

Every bet I've made gives me a queasy feeling, and even the few times I've won, I never really felt it was worth it.

I bet a lot, but usually only with small amounts of money. I use www.sportsinteraction.com , I actually found that place through a banner on this site. Ive won big a few times, and that site is legit, you will get paid. I was skeptical at first.

Actually, I wish the games would start back up already so I can try to make some cash!

Online casinos on the other hand, those are a joke! Played 4 hands of BlackJack at one site, and the dealer had BlackJack on 3 of the hands!

I agree with Ken. I'm a terrible gambler for one big reason. I bet as an emotional fan and you can't make money like that!!

I never bet against the Rangers, nor do I bet for the Islander or Devils. I dont want to deal wit that whole conflict of interest thing.

(although I could get rich betting against the Rangers)

It never works out like that though. Hell everyone in Detroit would be rich from betting against the Lions this year. But lots of betters will tell you to stay away from the lions when it comes to betting.

1unit= $100.00

So I am up about $9885.00

I bet mostly on football. But also on playoffs for all the sports.
I had a really good NFL playoffs. Only lost the Raiders-Pats game.(Goddam refs!)

Like Mario said, you can't bet as a fan. You have to remove emotion from the equation.

I use a local guy for wagering. He's sort of a "family" friend, if you know what I mean.
