Good question...
They need another winger and and another defensemen..
Im waiting to see if they step up this year and make another run like i thought thet might last season.
... but where will he go, and for what?
I know it is obviously too early to know for sure... but I really hate to see him go, he adds tons of charcter to the Pens, and he *HITS* everyone.
Let's go PENS!

Depending how Philly does this season, I can see him going there - or maybe the Penguins would want to get him out of the East.
As long as he can stay healthy, he'll make a GREAT edition to anyones defense.

I think Philly is a possibility... I'd hope they'd trade him out of the Conference as well.... but look where Jagr ended up. The one team the Pens are just about guananteed of playing every year in the playoffs!Originally posted by ChrisFrez

he's not too expensive.. i dunno.. its hard to say.. i hope he goes to the panthers though, they could really use him..
The sad thing is there is no good reason for the Pens not to keep him... or Jagr really... except money.
Hockey is headed in the direction of Major League Baseball... where only a handful of teams are going to be able to compete. This is not good...

i know.. it is going to really suck in a couple years.. but hopefully when all of these stars retire and the young crop of players come in they wont be so expensive.. but i can see it going too far.. it has already started with lecavalier
