Teemu Selanne may be going to the Rangers?

MacLean and Kelly Hrudey had an interesting -- and amusing -- exchange in the Road to Gold segment.

"I heard, in the can, of all places (Teemu) Selanne may be going to the Rangers," MacLean said. "I think a lot of those rumours come from those places," Hrudey said.

Ugh. I have a few problems with this:

1) Why would the Sharks, a serious contender, dump their most talented forward??

2) As a Pens fan, I am obligated to HATE the Rangers

so they just dont need another high dollar guy!

I can't remember where the article is that I was ready (possible The Hockey News magazine) where they said Teemu is gonna stay with San Jose until they work out their ownership/management issues that are currently going on.

The article further explained how Teemu never fit into Sutters system there...some rumors having Sutter being fired and San Jose bringing in Ken Hitchcock.

This Teemu to the Rangers rumor keeps on poppin up. Im sure the Rangers are going to dump their young talent for this guy, as usual.

I just hope Nedved is included in the trade, he only shows up when he feels like it.

But If the trade doesnt happen, Im fine with that. If the Rangers were smart that would rebuild for the future, but since this is NY...thats not a possiblility.
