    Who wears the gold?

The Quarter finals start tomorrow, some teams haven't played well *cough* Canada *cough*, and others are playing above expectations (the Finns, and the Swedes).

The Great Ones bigotted comments aside, I think my Canuck brothers will seize the day... and no I haven't smoked anything... yet!

USA is playing great! I think it'll be USA. If not... I'll take Sweden as my alternate...

    Thumbs up

Im also goin wit the USA. Its gonna be hard to beat them on their own soil.

Canada has the talent on the team to do it, obviously, But I just dont think they are gonna get their act together in time.

Even if the Canucks lose to the Finns, at least we didn't lose to a team that got spanked by everyone in it's division.

I'm telling you, you've got a real advantage because of the pool your team is in.

What's this crap of NBC only carrying the third period of the Gold medal game?

Dudes, the American television networks suck balls!

Oh yeah, CNBC will carry the game in it's entirety. Put Bob Costas to sleep and show a real man's sport, you stupid network ****s!

Hehe... so much for Buttman's big plan of exposing the game to the American audience.

At least we have CBC here in Detroit.

Actually I was flipping channels betweeen the american network (NBC) and the canadian network (CBC). I noticed that they only carried the game 10 minutes into the third period. My theory is that if the US was leading, they would have caried it, but since they were losing, they didn't want to bring this out to the american audience.

That's ridiculous. Everytime they try to push hockey forward they do something stupid. What the hell could have been more important? The curling finals?? Hockey's never gonna catch on in this country with Buttman running the show. I don't care though. As long as I don't have to sit through and ESPN educational game I'm happy. Bring back the glow puck!!
