I'm really getting sick of all this blender stuff that MacT does. Why didn't MacT leave the lines like they were against Phoenix but just bench Murray and leave Reasoner in. How are the Oilers supposed to gain chemistry if MacT keeps putting the lines into a blender?

Carter, as much as I hate to say it but he definately needs to be benched like in the press box. Maybe Grier or Moreau should join him. Comrie is only 2 points behind and he's a sophomore. Carter, you ought to be ashamed of yourself the way you're playing.

Carter, Grier and Moreau need to be traded and Poti might need to be traded because the fans are constantly booing Poti. How is boing going to help Poti? It distracts the entire team and it gives the road team confidence when fans boo Poti.

Why is Jason Smith captain? He's not doing his job as captain. What good did the meeting do that Jason Smith called a couple of games ago? Not a damn thing. How is a team supposed to respond to Jason Smith when he's struggling? I still believe that a forward should have been named captain. Can someone please tell me why Murray and Grier have the 'A'?

Why was Jason Smith even named captain? He was traded to Edmonton in March 1999. Marchant has been with the Oilers since March 1994 and Smyth has been with the team since 1995. I believe either of these two should have been captain instead of Jason Smith. Jason Smith should be stripped of the 'C' like they did in Calgary and go with two co-captains (Smyth and Marchant).

First of all, the Guerin / Carter deal was flat out retarded!! I know they figured they couldn't re-sign him but hell, Anson Carter?? What are they doin', collecting black guys up there? I agree with you about Ryan Smith or Marchment however, I disagree with you about Poti. That guy's got one of the best slap shots I've ever seen. He looked cool during the olympic tourney. Of course, I probably would have to surrounded by that kind of talent. I'll tell you this, if they were willing to trade Poti, they SHOULD get something in return this time. There's a big market for good defensemen before the deadline every year. The leafs could DEFINITELY use him.
