    Hey Case Sensitive:

Not to take away from our game; but what the hell is going on in football?? I heard today that Marv Lewis got rejected by the board to become the new coach in Tampa so he signed a $850,000 per year deal with the Redskins as D.C.. What the hell is that all about? He would have been a perfect fit for those "no talent hacks" in Tampa. And what's Buffalo gonna do about a quarterback since they don't want Rob Johnson back? Rumor has it they want Bledsoe. He sucks, and those bums in New England wouldn't have won anything with him at the wheel.
I also hear Baltimore is gonna loose their whole defensive line and are going to a 3-4 defense. Belichek (sp?) is done, he won't win anything else. Give him a year or two and he'll be on the chopping block also!!!

Just wanted to get your takes.

I think that after Dungy... Tampa need to get an offensive minded coach, and hope the defense remains strong...

Lewis may have bolstered the defense even more... but I dont think the offense would be greatly improved.

That all being said... I dont think Dungy deserved to be fired.

Watch out for the Colts this year if he gets his defefense set up in Indy.
    Let's go PENS!

I agree with a lot of what Darth Xed stated.
Tampa needs somebody who can re-vamp their offense. Lewis is a defensive guy, and would just be another Dungy, but without the experience.
With the Skins though, he's a great fit. He can concentrate on the D, while Spurrier works his magic on offense. Good move by the Red$kin$.

Buffalo? Who knows, and who really cares?

Bledsoe can't win anything? If you'll recall, he DID lead the Pats to the Superbowl a few years back. He's not a bad QB.
You're likely right about Belechek. The Pats had a season where everything went their way. Including breakout years by several players (Troy Brown, Tom Brady, Antowain Smith). Not much chance of it happening again.

I think that the good teams next year are going to be San Fran, Oakland, Green Bay, Miami, Pittsburgh, and St. Louis.

A few more have the potential for great seasons, like Baltimore(Jamaal Lewis will be back), New York(Giants & Jets), and Tennessee.

Don't look for the Pats or Bears to have nearly as good a season this time around.

Possible breakout teams this year? Indy, Dallas, Seattle, San Diego. And oh hell, why not the Lions?

Superbowl? Raiders over 49ers. Battle of the Bay!
