    Illegal Sticks

You can now add Jagr to the list of players getting caught with illegal sticks. What's going on this season with so many players getting caught with illegal sticks. He was caught with an illegal stick the other night in overtime against the Preds. C'mon Jagr should know better, shouldn't he?

There's lots of players using illegal sticks. It's so rare for a stick to be checked, that most of them just take the risk.

Heck, some of the blades that you can buy come with an illegal curve from the factory.

Personally, I always thought the limit on the curve was stupid. If it helps the guy score, fine. But it makes it a real ***** to shoot or take a pass on the backhand side of the blade. Basically, it's an acceptable trade-off in my mind.

Besides, I'd really like to see Brett Hull shooting with a curve like his old-man used to use.

    Wink

As a *HUGE* Jagr fan, and long-time Pens fan... I have watched many, many Pens games... I would say that Jags averaged getting caught with an illegal stick about twice per season...

I imagine he uses an illegal one more often than he is caught...
    Let's go PENS!
