Hardly surprising but I hate to see Larry go...Heck, I'd be happy with Jacques Lemaire and Robinson behind the bench again with Fetisov...The best coaching staff they ever had was back in '95, it's the players that need to get it in gear, we'll see...I sure hope they DON'T (P.J.) fall apart!! I guess only time will tell...I think their best bet is just to make the playoffs, doesn't matter where...Once they make it the playoffs should provide all the motivation they need to show how good they really are...Kevin Constantine should be a good move though since they won't get rid of many players, I understand he's quite the opposite of Robinson...Will this be the spark the Devils need???...

Somehow I don't see Constantine as being the answer. It's hard for a coach to bully (which is what Constantine does) a veteran player, who's heard it all before by more intelligent coaches than this one (specificly Lemaire).

Lou fired Robinson, a great players coach, but the real cancer on the Devils right now is the GM. His berating his team, when it made the finals for the second straight year, after losing to the Avs would make Harry Sinden blush. These men are professionals and Lou has treated them like children, no wonder they're all pissed off. If the GM was doing an honest job, he would fired his own sorry ass.

*LOL*...Yeah Lou's been pretty controversial since forever...I still remember when that MSG sports newsman called him "Lying Lou" just before a Rangers game...I don't even remember what that was about either, I think that was about a trade or something...
