Im not too familiar wit how Poti plays, considering I dont get to watch many Oiler Games here in NJ. But Im thinking he's a big offensive defensemen, that likes to hit...no?

If so, Trade him to the Rangers for Ulanov please

He'll be 25 in March and is on the American Olympic team. He doesn't really hit but is supposed to be an offensive defenseman. Fans are really turning on him. During last night's game against the Avalanche he was booed mercilessly the entire game. He was booed worse than Ed Belfour during last year's playoffs and that's saying a lot. The fans in Edmonon don't like Belfour and will boo him mercilessly. We don't want Ulanov as the Oilers have already had Ulanov and let him go.

The thing with Poti is that he is so young with a lot of talent. Trading him away is likely to come back and haunt you.

I know what you mean. Arnott was run out of town in '98 and he ended up scoring the winning goal in the Stanley Cup Final a couple of years ago. Terry Jones has done this before and it has come back to haunt him. Frankly, I don't like Terry Jones and he succeeded and the fans booed Poti the entire game when the Oilers played the Avalance on Wednesday. It makes no sense to boo a player. He'll be 25 I believe in March and is still quite young. Offensive defencemen take a lot longer to develop than forwards.
