    Oh no Ozo gone

Wednesday the Canes sent Ozo and Byron Ritchie to divisional rival Florida for Defenseman Bret Hedican, center Kevyn Adams and a top prospect. I hope these moves make them stronger as it's time to make a division title run, the Caps are starting to catch up. By the way Ozo debuted last night with a minus 2.

I liked Ozo, but his style never really suited the hurricanes. He likes to play a ffast paced highly skilled game and the canes play a grind it out kind of style. i wish him well in florida, but the fact he is now out of a canes jersey makes him the enemy

I heard interviews with O'neill, BrindAmour, and Gelinas and they didn't seem to upset at the departure in fact almost happy.

I never liked Ozo, especially when he was on the Av's. This guy should be a forward because he's a complete liability in his own end.

I think this is a plus for the Canes - hey, you still got Ward

Ward has brought some toughness to the blue line and is becoming a fan favorite. Both of his goals this season are game winners. I think the Canes will try to lock him up with a contract at seasons end.

This deal gave the Canes two more Americans bringing their total to 7, the most in the NHL. I just thought that was kind of interesting.
