You're smokin' crack again Dave. The Pens suck!

I like the way the Wings are playing, but their defence worries me. Scoring will be harder to come by in the playoffs, so they'll have to rely more on defence to win games.

Wings and Habs in the finals.

    Wings-Rangers in Finals

I dont think the Pens are going anywhere this year. They couldnt do it with Jagr, what would make me think they can do it without him?

I'm not too worried about the Wings defense just yet. They've been playing pretty thin on the blue line so far this season with the injuries to Uwe Krupp, Max Kuznetsov and Jesse Walin. I was reading in the paper this weekend that the Wings will probably be going after Darius Kasperitus to get more depth and grit in defense.

I think the Finals could look like this:

    Detroit vs Hartford...errr Carolina or

    Detroit vs Boston

Hey at least Toronto's been in the play-offs the past 3 years!

Although, I'll be honest that I don't think the Leafs will be dancing with the Cup this year with the team they got right now.

If the Caps ever get their heads out of their butts, they'd probably be the team to beat out of the East...

Don't count the Pens out though ... they are hovering around .500 with scores of injuries... if Straka & Lemieux are healthy when the playoffs start, they are still a factor.

The Pens are a much better team when Hedberg is in the net as well... Aubin's numbers are rotten compared to Hedberg's, yet they still rotate the 2 fairly often, though word out of the 'Burgh is that they are going to run with Hedberg from here on out, except maybe on back-to-back nights....
    Let's go PENS!

Despite the Caps record, I am still worried about them. Once they straighten out their act, they will be a team thats hard to beat.

But I just heard a rumor that the Rangers are interested in both Sellanne, and Bure....So who knows.

I dont think offense is going to be the Rangers problem though, I wish they'd consider going for a stud defensemen instead.

Sorry all you Leastern Conference unfortunates; but the western conference finals is the stanley cup this year. The Caps can't get their act together, the Rangers are about 30 million in salary away yet, Toronto, well, never mind I like Ken. Anyway, the Pens are done, Montreal needs to start finding non limp wristed french canadians to pick up. I gotta go with Frezza, Carolina or Boston.

It's too bad someone from the east has to show up.
