Great Defense in Phoenix win!

Wow - there sure are a lot of Wings fans in Phoenix! By the sound of the crowd and the Let's Go Red Wings chants, it sounded like the Wings were playing at the Joe instead of America West arena in Phoenix.

Chelios is playing simply awesome so far this season. He definetly looks like a new person out there for the Wings coming off a big season of injuries last year.

By far the best defensive game of the year for the Wings. I think they held the Coyotes to only 15-16 shots TOTAL in the game...it was only like 2-3 for the entire 2nd period

And still no shut-outs for Hasek! He won't have another chance like that for a while.
