The All Star Game - an embarassing shootout or a display of the league's finest?

So thankfully we are back to the East versus West format. Do you guys think it'll be much a game this year, or will it fall back to the shootouts of the past?

My prediction - Well I'm a little jaded here and I doubt we'll see much back-checking, nevermind body checking or shadowing.

I'm hoping for a shootout. ZERO defence!!!

Maybe run the score to something like 17-15.

The all-star game is about showing off. It's not about having a serious game.

And I love that they went back to the East v. West. NA v. World was lame.

Hell, this is the ONE game where you might actually see the skill players not be hauled down or trapped.
    Let's go PENS!

If it's anything like last years game, it should be PLENTY entertaining Didn't Heatly score 4 goals himself in that game?

OK guys, perhaps it's just me., but I think it's sad that the game has gotten to the point where we count on one game to make up for the lack of scoring in the rest of the season.

Not that I want to see a stifling defence in an All Star Game but it would be nice if the goal got some kind of support.

What am I saying?.. eff it! ... RUN UP THE GOALS!

oh no not the up the scoring topic

I just want to see the skills that got them selected for the all-star team and will be happy with a low or high scoring game if there are some awesome shots, blocks..etc..etc..

I think we will see hockey played the way it's supposed to be played at the all-star game. I can't wait to watch.
