I'm assuming that he and the Mighty Quinn will be able to place nice together right? After all - doesn't Quinn have a say in who will be his successor?

Exactly! That's why the Leafs couldn't get someone with the experience of a Bob Gainey... like say, Bob Gainey!

Fergie seems like a bright kid, but this is Toronto. Not a town for a young Exec to earn his stripes in, unless he wants to be ripped to shreds.
