Direction of the club

I don't mean to whine guys - really I don't - I just don't get the direction the club is going. Maybe I'm being impatient and PMS'ing but why do we have to continue with all the stupid posts by Jelly?

I am so ready to just walk away because of this bull****. Its always the same thing over and over and over. Isn't there a way to make it stop!?!

I see that some of those posts were locked and I'm glad. I don't think it is fair to APE that those two keep jumping on DSI. Both are sponsors and it isn't doing the club any good.

Geoff, maybe you could get in touch with APE and let them know that their nuthuggers are causing them to lose business. Maybe if it came from them, they would shut-up!

Sorry to ramble! Mark thinks I take this too serious but it's really getting old and I'm just too fricking old to stick around for this.

We are moving a bit slowly and part of that is just getting some of the infrastructure put down. I'm going to shoot to have the paper with me for everyone to review tomorrow at the dyno pull. We can all sign them or we'll have a quick vote by the board to allow me to sign it and document it in our meeting minutes.

Then we can hookup with Bryan and see how the site stuff is coming along. Once we have things moved and we expand the moderator support, we can work on the site rules so that everyone can see we want to be fair and consistent. We all know its fun to poke but the respect for individuals needs to be there (no ethnic, reliogious, orientation attacks need to be accepted).

At this point Jelly is like a little kid that is pushing the buttons because he knows he can get away with it. He knows how to be a punk and how to drag others down the path and serveral people have grown tired enough of his screwing around to follow him into the mud pit. I've probably self moderated about a dozen posts that I was just so close to hitting the submit reply button on in the last month. It takes creativity to let him know we know he's an ass without fanning the flames.

In the end, the board will be a tool for the members, it is not a right of membership. Just like any guest that can not comply with the rules, a member can have their posting priviledges suspended. If Jelly needs to be the first to test that once the rules are documented, then he'll get the point perhaps.

In the end, don't let him bring you down. We've got some good people here and some plans in the works. Besides, you're one of our ringers when we get the car shows going in the future.

I guess Jelly doesn't get it - I'm not after him for saying stuff about DSI - he is really giving APE a bad rep. Does Kirk know that people are choosing DSI over APE because of Jelly and Tim? I think that the same respect should be given to all the sponsors.

Maybe I'm way off base and too hormonal to get it or will ever even try to understand the testorone but this is getting so old with me. I don't enjoy it anymore and its all because of a couple individuals who continue to cause trouble.

This place was fun - it just isn't anymore. I know I'm whiny so don't hold anything back - I really would like to hear from everyone. I promise I won't cry.

The more important slip here is pickup the car??? Is she good to go??? I think the locking is valid at this point. It has been clean and even and has kept things from going down hill.

I'm pretty sure our new visitor is a potential sponsor that we all know of. So maybe we'll get some thing decent out of this open LOCKED post. Let's see.

Maybe someone should call Diamond Pistons and go at him from that angle. Anybody know who Jelly works for at Diamond? I haev no problem calling and explaining the situation. He is definitely the root of all the trash on the boards.
