    A Berard Comeback?

    Story on Canoe's website

Berard is now technically a free agent so he can join any team in a comeback attempt.

Kudos to Herb Brooks and Team USA for inviting Berard to their Olympic training camp.

Well I say all the best to him, that man has so much talent,it was a shame to lose him before he could reach his full potential.
Leafs Rule! Stanley's ours this year!

    Cool

Berard had alot of talent and the leafs really miss his offensiveness. Kaberle has signs of greatness in the opposing zone but he will not come into his own for a few years.
God that was gross when he got hit. I rememeber watching the game and seeing the massive pool of blood when he got up.
I hope all the best to him...just as long as USA doen't beat Canada. Ha ha ha.....no flames now. I figure I might be outnumbered here.

I hope Berard does make a comeback. He may not be as good as he was but I give kudos to Sather for the offer.

Looks like he's headed for New York.

While I'm very happy he might be able to resume his career, I really wish it was with the Leafs. Their defence greatly misses his offensive bursts, and playmaking ability.

Still I hope it works out for him, he's a true talent.

Did his eye improve enough to meet the NHL's physical standards. I knew he could try out for team USA but as you folks stated above it is looking like NY is giving him a shot but I didn't think he was eligible to play due to his poor vision in that eye. The only league that was possible was the 'I' but that folded this year. I didn't even think he could play in the 'A'. Goes to show you what I know
