Yikes, not a fun schedule for the last month of play. Mybe the penguins can eke out a few victories, after all the Canes actually won one, although it was against the Pens

Wow, thats a horrible remaining schedule. But atleast it don't really matter at this point for the Pens.

They have only won twice since trading Kovalev, right?

    3 times I think.

They were actually 3-3 at one point after the trade... I think they are now 3-12 after the trade.

    Thumbs down

You know... I was almost half-joking when I posted this....

Now winless in 16. (0-14-2) and since the Kovie deal, we are 3-19-2.

It won't get any easier either, tomorrow night they have to play the big bad Rangers.

Just came accross a disturbing stat...

    Since the Kovalev trade...

    Fata 13 pts
    Kovalev 9 pts

    The Rangers are cursed!

Ya, Fata has actually been the lone somewhat bright spot in all this.

Seems the Rangers have a way of quashing talent.

(Sorry to bash... but I am so frustrated with the NHL right now... )

Has Fata all of a sudden developed some hands? Guy was aways rediculously fast, but could never finish. Or is it just becuase he is playing wit Mario?

    LOL!!!

It's amazing you said that because that was my exact assesment of him after about 5 games...

He'll get set up (a lot by Mario now that they play together) but he just can finish... he seems to have gotten a little better, but he needs to develop that part of his game for sure.

    He is quick though!
