The skates i have cost $50 but I know they can go up to over $300. I guess it depends on what you want to spend vs how they feel. I have flat feet and they hurt if I skate too long. After this year I was thinking on getting new skates.

My skates arn't exactly that great, and I want to get something better. I want something lighter that hsa a little more ankle bracing. Any suggestions? I'm currently using Bauer Chargers.

Drop the puck already!
I'm gonna be in the market for new skates soon. Mine are over 4 years old and I got them for $40 way back then at Radke's. Since i've been skating quite a bit the last year or so, the rivets look like they are starting to come loose and really rusting.
I'm gonna be doing some online research on the different models of skates.

It's tough to really make a reccomendation, because everyone has different feet. Go to Perani's and try on a few different skates in your price-range. Pick the most comfy ones.![]()
