They are not starting off to a good start yet and they haven't even entered training camp yet. They've lost Koivu, YET AGAIN! This time it looks like the poor guy has cancer. Ugh.
OK, maybe I'm just dreaming. Or maybe it's just the fan in me. But I think the Habs have a chance to make the playoffs this season.
They've added some good veterans, and hopefully the young guys can continue to improve. If they stay away from injuries, they could compete.

As much as I love watching the Leafs feast on Les Glorieux in recent years, I'm bummed that we're not seeing the classic battles these two teams have produced for decades.
I truly hope that Koivu recovers, like Mario did from Hodgkins, and that Montreal rekindles some of that ol' magic.
Of course only to stomped on by the Leafs in the Conference finals... but you get the idea!![]()
