    Osgood - is he Osgone?

The Waiver draft is set for 12pm today - do you think anybody needs a #1 goalie? Osgood comes with a pretty big salary.

Some team names that have been thrown around as needing a #1 goalie is New York Rangers, Islanders and St. Louis Blues.

From what I read, It seemed like he was an Islander. Can anyone back me up on that?

Detroit radio is also reporting that Osgood went 1st overall in the Waiver draft to the New York Islanders....however, they say there could be another trade with him today.

The are expecting the Islanders to trade him to the St. Louis Blues for Tyson Nash.

    We'll see...

    Ozzy will be missed.

Poor Ossie has gone to the goaltending abyss of the Isle, but Sergei Federov is the one who gets caught drinking and driving!

Are they like the Corsican brothers or something?

Looks like Ozzie will stay an Islander. He played his first game with them on Sat and won 3-1.

I know i'll miss him hear in Detroit, just because he's been here so long and looked to be an important part of the team throughout the 90's...what I won't miss is his Looooong goals he would like to give up and incredible slumps he can go through.

Hmm...a New York team that spends a lot of money on to buy players....I think I've seen this before! Anyone?
