Unhappy Say it ain't so!!! No more Trans Ams/Z28s.

My heart goes out to our parent board CamaroZ28.com.

    CamaroZ28 has an article here

Chris, what are your contacts saying about this?

    Unhappy

I met with our contact a couple of hours after the press released was issued to talk about things.

It might come back in 3-4 years. Let's hope so anyway.

Ugh... 3-4 years? That's worse than I thought... I figured if they were going to bring it back, it'd be 2004... at leats that's the 'buzz'.

This bad news had me looking for 'alternative cars' down the road.

    My restriction were:

I do not want a truck or SUV.
I do not want a 4 door car.
    I do not want FWD.

After just those 3 things, my choices became horribly small!

    Not to mention I want a V8.

The only two cars that fit the profile, including the V8 were Mustang & Corvette.

I threw a couple other in, sans V8, but they are priced up there with Corvette... the Audi TT 225 Quattro, and the BMW 330Ci.

This makes me realize how few cars I would even want to buy that are being made anymore... and I'm only 29 yrs old!
    Let's go PENS!

    2004? Don't hold your breath. Maybe 2005. Possibly 2006.

    Yes, it sucks, I know.

What is nice to know is that until then, Ford isn't planning on making a car that can stomp a current year f-body.
