<vent>Okay, people. Just because Dominik Hasek is gone does not mean that the Sabres will suck! We are still a very good team, with good goaltending, great "D", and budding offense. Many teams will be surprised with the talent of the Sabres. Do not count them out of the playoffs. Hasek was not everything to the Sabres. I will not doubt that he was a good part of our organization, but I am extremely excited and confident about this team as is. GO SABRES!!!!!</vent>

I see you point that not one man is a team. He was a strong part of the SABRES but not the only good one.I wish you team goodluck this season................................

The Sabres are definitely battlers, while I don't see them winning the conference or their division, they still have the talent to take a playoff spot. It isn't going to be an easy season for them or their fans.

I would definately say that Buffalo is still a very strong team. Biron played well last year and you guys have a pretty impresive defence. I do not think that the loss will be a major factor. Maybe 5-10 more losses, definately still a playoff team. Good luck.
