What's the deal with all this talk about the Sabres considering a move to another city? Sounds like things have calmed down a bit... but it gets real tiresome with all these pro sports teams moving / threatening to move...![]()

Considering 50% of their fans cross the Embassador Bridge from Canada to attend their games I wonder what the effects of US border tightening have had on Sabre attendance?
It would be funny to see this American Franchise move north to Hamilton! It'll never happen, because I think Paul Allen has dibs on the next team available, but it would be nice to see Canada get one back.![]()

I have noticed , whenever I head up to the Falls, that there seems to be about a 70/30 split in the Niagara Falls, Canada fan base... about 70% or so seem to be Sabres fans... most of the rest are Leafs fans...

In High School, my best friend, a know-it-all Habs fan, and I went to Buffalo to catch a playoff game there against Les Glorieux (2500 seats available *cough*). We ended up buying some Golds for a little more then they cost from a scalper.
We went to the game dressed in Habs jerseys and everyone was as nice as pie to us, but coming back over the bridge in Ontario, all of these Canadians that also attended the game were honking and yelling at us. Needless to say we had some fun!![]()
