I think the day of the dynasty is over. The Devs going in the first round, and from what I saw, the reason for it is they are worn out.
Going to the Cup final two seasons straight seems to wear down most teams now a days.
Don't feel too bad Jason, I'd have the Leafs miss the playoffs for a decade if I gotto see the players wearing their Blue and White jerseys while dancing around with Lord Stanley's chalice.

You know what man??...I always said to myself if I got to see the New Jersey Devils skating around with the Stanley Cup just once I'd be happy and not care if I ever saw it again...I was almost in Disbelief in '95 seeing what I saw, especially watching them do it on home ice...For years I watched the Devils not even able to make it past round one, if they could even make it at all...They were just a lowly little team that had never won the Cup...Then I watched the opportunity stolen by the Rangers in '94 only to watch them bounce back with the Cup in hand the following year...It was simply icing on the cake to watch them do in in 2000 and see the kids (Elias, Sykora, and Arnot) pull off their magical skill and chemistry...Now I'm not saying I don't want them to win it again...Seeing the Cup return sometime within the next three years would be REALLY nice! :D :D :D However I'd really like to see Vancouver win it once also...And to see some other teams win it for the first time, or at least the first time in 20+ years, would be really cool too...I'm not upset at all...A little dissappointed yes, it would be kinda cool to see the Devils pull a 3+ year streak off and make a TRUE dynasty like the Islanders, Canadiens or Oilers did but that's almost impossible now days...But if I get too down, I'll just go buy one of those Stanley Cup '95 and 2000 review tapes...Hehehe...Good luck to the Leafs!...
:)
Jason (Still a happy Devils fan)
