Heading into the Continental Airlines Arena the Hurricanes watched the gates of hell opened and the third game of round one stolen away in a flash...The Devils came out with fury in the first half of the game led by the little fireplug Brian Gionta and scored four goals before the five minute mark of period two...They won game three with a dominant shoutout 4-0...The very confident Carolina Hurricanes probably didn't expect this as they have done a masterful job of making the Devils look bad in the two first games of the series...Showing which team was a Division champion and also showing who was the sixth ranked team in the Conference...The Canes now have to rethink things as the series is now in their favor two games to one...But STILL in their favor...They looked so confident going into the game but played with little passion as the Devs took it to them hard...Can Carolina come back with a counter punch or will the Devils turn this series into a bitter best of three series???...Game four is next!...Tuesday is the day!...

game 3 was a serious spanking, hopefully it will motivate the Canes to come out with some fire on Tuesday.

I think Jersey said with Authority yesterday afternoon that they aren't going away. The last thing the Canes need to do is sit back and watch this team come at em full guns-a-blazin.

Wake up call received.

lt's hope it has been received. The Canes have a history of sitting back on their haunches when they have a lead. Let's hope irbe can shake the shelling off and the Canes defense can step it up in game 4.

It's tough to get ready for a game three when you own the series 2-0. I think the same of the Vancouver Canuks last night. They were saying before the game that people in Vancouver are already planning the Stanley Cup parade route. Gimme a break!!

Well I can assure you the people of Raleigh are not planning a Stanley Cup parade. However, we would love to beat the Devils and go to round 2!

Sheesh, I did not expect that to happen last night! Common Canes, finish these bastards off!

Well tonight's the night...This game is HUGE...If the Hurricanes can manage to find victory, that loud sound from the south will be the Canes fans' sigh of relief! :) If not, the Devils will be one of the toughest teams to beat come game five...

If the canes can forecheck and can get their first line playing like they are capable of, while keepingg the second and third lines playing strong, then tonight could be a completely different game from game 3. Course, defense and Irbe are needed to play like games 1 and 2 too.
Plus, i think we are playing in the meadowlands, not the continental breakfast arena, so maybe a change of venue will be good for the Canes!

Go canes!!!!!!!!!
