ESPN has this typists work (http://espn.go.com/nhl/playoffs2002/gamescout/nyitor.html)
Intangibles
The Islanders have a swagger. And they are back in the playoffs for the first time in eight years. They are young, confident and think they can beat anyone, including Toronto, a team New York beat in three out of four meetings.
Why do most American hockey columnists suck? Can they not learn the history or understand the game?
Bill, not to hurt your simple ESPN sportsman mindset, the regular season means jack-squat. Learn this and maybe you'll have job security before someone at your piss-poor quality (hockey-wise) network actually discovers that hockey isn't just a sport, but the ultimate team sport.
----
For those of us who understand hockey, we know the two factors of this series is Cujo being able to play at his incredible level, and can Alexi Yashin be a force, or he continue to be a playoff farce.
----
Why do I bother?
