For the second straight season, the NHL set a regular-season attendance record. (http://espn.go.com/nhl/news/2002/0415/1369272.html)
The Colorado Avalanche, Columbus Blue Jackets, Dallas Stars, Detroit Red Wings, and Minnesota Wild sold out each of their 41 home games.
Curious why Toronto isn't listed because the couple times I went to by tickets while I was visiting they were always sold out well in advance. Perhaps, this is based on actual attendance and not just gate receipts.
