You know I think we really could of beat those floating leafs, but Detroit was feeling generous. I mean come on if the leafs were so good than how come we had to go into overtime.

I think after a terrible first period by both goaltenders, I think Schwab out played my former-hometown hero Manny Legace. Detroit outchanced Toronto 2-1 in the other two periods

IMHO, the Leafs were extremely lucky to get out of Motown with two much needed points.

OT: Damn those Bruins keep winning!

You have to give the Leafs credit for battling back, even after that Osgood-like goal by Federov on Schwab from the blue line.
Schwab played a good game from then on. Maybe it was the stick smashing he did a la Patrick Roy. How did Darcy Tucker get 19 goals? Like that McCabe guy too.

Alexander Mogilny. Although to give Tucker credit, he and his bro-in-law create a lot of space with their crashing and banging for Mr. Mogilny to work his magic.

McCabe is shaping up to be a heckuva defenceman for the Leafs. I'll be said when they trade him.

You can defininitely tell they've switched to the eastern conference. That was some UGLY hockey last night!! Every time a team plays ugly like that, they fare well against the Wings.
