Another fan hit by Puck

Apparently another fan was hit with a puck in last nights game between Montreal and Florida.

I sure hope the Media isn't going to be telling us everytime somebody gets hit now in games. The death in Columbus was an unfortunate freak accident - but I see fans getting hit all the time at games I've been to at Joe Louis Arena.

I certaintly don't want to see the NHL have to start putting up Nets on top of the glass.

I read that the Coyotes put up nets, but I agree Chris, I don't want to see them either. That girl's death was a freak accident. her coroner's report even says so, she tore an artery that is rarely damaged.
I have seen people carried out of canes' games from getting hit, but never anything more than getting cut. I think the media, and speaking as a member of that "revered" group, will let it die after a while, it is just a "hot"issue right now, kinda like when football players drop dead from heat exhaustion in summer practice. Several stories follow, but the issue is dropped.

The media will play this for all it's worth. The girls death was an unfortunant tragedy. In reality it's more likely for someone to be injured by being drunk and falling down the stairs or that could be just me.

Sorry Count, I still maintain that the issue will die after a while, but for now, there will be several stories along the same lines.

I agree but everything dies after awhile and now the story is hot so we will hear about every little incident. I'm not saying this is bad or good but just reality.
