Ed Belfour ended an 11-game winless streak (0-8-3) against St. Louis in Dallas’ 3-2 win. The streak included a four-game sweep in last season’s playoffs.

I think he was just thanking Dallas for sticking with him and not sending him elsewhere.

I don't know about that. I think he would cut off a leg to get out of there. They probably should have traded him in order to get something. He's unrestricted and will probably walk after this season. I hate to say it, but he could wind up in St. Louis after this year, probably play for a coach other than Quenville (due to firing). Unless St. Louis can get Cujo, he'd be the right guy to get over there. St. Louis is gonna change quite a bit after this year I think.

Oh yeah, St. Louis is definitely looking to make some changes and put them into some serious contention.

I still can't believe they didn't address their goalie situation before the trade deadline.
