Nieuwendyk And Richer Each Get 1 Point In Devils Win!...

A very nice 3-1 win at Chicago got the Devils a nice start to this mini road trip...Nieuwendyk and Richer each picked up a point which is great to see...And the win is all that more gratifying since Sykora and Elias were both out with the flu, I hope they get back soon though!...Nashville is next and this should be a GREAT litmus test considering this is the kind of team they've been stuggling to 'get up' for this year!...

I still think they got the short end of the stick in that deal though. With Niewendyk, they'll improve they're face-off department. He's also a lot younger than I thought, let's see how those knees hold up.

The question is how much physical play did they lose when Arnott got traded?

A hell of a lot when he's getting replaced with Niewendyk. He doesn't have the knees to play physical. He is a great faceoff guy though.
