For a 4th round draft pick in 2003. Looks like Chicago is getting ready for the playoffs - it's been FOREVER it seems that Chicago has made the playoffs.

Perhaps he was a FA at the end of the year, and they weren't planning on re-signing him?

Good move for Chicago... They're gonna be tough in the playoffs. Assuming Thibault can hold it down between the pipes.

Yeah, there's gonna be some tough early round matchups this year. I think if it were to end right now, Detroit would be facing Dallas and Colorado would get St. Louis or something like that. I wouldn't want to face Chicago early this year.
